Jatinder, with over 10 years of experience in Indian food, and Satendar, a tandoor master with 16 years of expertise, wanted to share the regal flavours and vibrant culture of India with the people of the UK.

Founded on 28th December 2023, Jodhpur was born from the friendship and dedication of these two culinary visionaries. Jatinder Singh brings his magic to the curries, known for his skillful touch that transforms each dish into something extraordinary. Satendar Singh, a true tandoor expert, is the heart and soul behind the smoky, perfect tandoori dishes that are sure to transport you straight to the royal kitchens of India. Having worked together for over seven years, their bond turned into a business partnership with the goal of offering more than just food, but a complete cultural experience.
The name Jodhpur isn’t just a reference to Satendar’s hometown; it embodies the royal heritage, vibrant culture, and breathtaking beauty of India’s Blue City. Satendar personally handpicked each piece of art that adorns the restaurant, from hand-painted brass plates showcasing intricate craftsmanship by Indian artisans to an original horse saddle from the Jodhpur polo tradition, a game played by royals for centuries. Meanwhile, Jatinder ensured that every detail of the restaurant, from the seating to the overall atmosphere, invites guests to experience the true spirit of Jodhpur.
